Sodium percarbonate

Sodium percarbonate is a fluid granular compound used for laundry and cleaning for its ability to whiten and clean tough stains. In addition, it is biodegradable since, once in contact with water, it transforms into oxygen peroxyde and sodium carbonate. Sold elsewhere for more than $10.00 per pound, Savonnerie Blanchou offers it in formats of 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg.

Suggested use:

laundry: 30 g (2 tbsp) for regular washing and 60 g (4 tbsp) for really dirty laundry washing; If you prefer to remove stains before washing: soak the stained linen in a mixture of 30 to 45 g of sodium percarbonate in 1 liter of warm water and rub the stains before putting the laundry in the machine.

whites: add 30 to 45 g of sodium percarbonate in the drum of the machine in addition to your detergent.

coffee maker: using 30 g per liter of water, run this mixture through the coffee maker as if you were running coffee. Rinse with cold water and voilà!

refrigerator: 30 g per liter of warm water; wash and let stand for 10 to 20 minutes; this will eliminate mold and odors; rinse with clear water.

kitchen: 30 to 60 g per liter of hot water will wash and deodorize the entire kitchen.

bathroom: toilet, add 45 g to the bowl, let stand for 15 to 20 minutes, brush and flush.

mold: make a paste using hot water and 30 to 60 g, rub with a cloth, wait 15 minutes and rinse.
