But what is a felted soap?

Felt is a textile material produced by soaking and compression of fibers. The felting on a soap produces a fusion of wool and soap and results in the creation of a soapy toilet glove.

Our felted soap is simply a real body soap from La Savonnerie Blanchou wrapped in sheep's and alpaca's wool. To achieve this, we coat the soap with wool and soak it repeatedly in hot water until we obtain a bar of soap that comes together with the layer of wool that surrounds it. The wool layer helps make it last longer and helps you keep it in your hands. In addition, the use of fibers of different colors on the same soap gives it an aesthetic look.

And the sheep and alpaca wool we use come from Québec farms.
