Please read the following terms and conditions carefully; they bind you to the Merchant, the owner of the Site. Furthermore, you hereby agree to the electronic method of communication with the Merchant for all your exchanges and that these meet all the requirements of written communication.

We reserve the sole discretion to refuse service to you, cancel an order, close your account, remove or edit content on the Site, or cancel an order whether or not you have complied with these Terms and Conditions.

Confidentiality of personal information

Please review our privacy policy available at the bottom of our site to learn how we collect, share and manage your personal information.

The products and services offered are intended for sale to adults who have reached the age of majority in your place of residence, which is 18 years of age in the province of Quebec. By using the Merchant's Site, you represent and warrant to the Merchant that you are of the age of majority in your place of residence.

Accuracy of information

We make every effort to ensure that all information on our Site is error-free, but we cannot guarantee this. We may refuse or cancel an order containing an item with an incorrect description or price. Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in Canadian currency.

The products offered on our Site, as well as the dates of offers, prices and availability, features and technical specifications of these products, are subject to review and change without notice. It is possible that a product ordered online may no longer be available in our inventory or may not be able to be delivered due to a situation beyond our control. We will then cancel the order and refund the amounts paid in return, if this is the case.

Your sole remedy for non-conformity with the description of a product is to return it in its original packaging for a refund, in accordance with the refund provisions that apply below.

Registration and password

You will be required to complete a registration form to access certain parts and features of the Merchant's Site. You agree to provide us with current and truthful information and to keep this information up to date at all times.

You agree to protect the confidentiality of your username and password and access to your computer, so that no other person may use it. You are responsible for all transactions made in your account using this information. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your username and password and of any breach of security of which you become aware, and within forty-eight (48) hours of becoming aware of such a situation.

Comments

You may post comments and reviews regarding the content of the Site. You are solely responsible for the comments you post; we are not liable for them, and you agree to indemnify the Merchant against any damages arising from them.

You may not use the name of others, hide your identity, or use any unlawful, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of another's privacy or intellectual property rights, or constitute chain letters, mass mailings, or spam.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to edit or remove comments without explanation, and we assume no responsibility for systematically reviewing published comments.

When you post a comment, you give the Merchant the non-exclusive right to use the name and content published, royalty-free, perpetually and irrevocably, to reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, represent, translate, distribute, communicate to the public and display it anywhere in the world and on any medium.

We ask that you post only one review per product, unless you wish to provide new information. You agree to only comment on products you have personally tried and to maintain a respectful tone at all times. Employees and competitors of distributors and manufacturers are prohibited from posting reviews.

Applicable laws

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the province or state of Quebec or the country of Canada applicable therein. In addition, any legal action against the Merchant must be brought before the judicial district in which the city of Cowansville is located.

Order errors

In the event that you believe that an error has occurred when placing an order, we invite you to notify us without delay, but at the latest within 48 hours of its discovery by sending us a message to the following address: info@savonnerieblanchou.ca and indicating in sufficient detail the error that was made.

Delivery and returns

Unless you have chosen a specific carrier and delivery time during the transaction for which additional charges may apply, the delivery method and name of the carrier will be determined by the Merchant and our usual delivery times in your territory are:

3 to 7 business days in Quebec.

We undertake to deliver your purchases to you within a reasonable time subject to the availability of the carriers used by the sender, who are solely responsible for the delivery of the products or services purchased.

The risk of loss and title to the purchased goods or services are transferred to you at the time they are handed over to the carrier or if the goods cross an international border, this risk is transferred to you after customs clearance.

In-store pickup of an online purchase must be by appointment, 24 to 48 hours in advance.

In this case, the risk of loss and the right of ownership of the purchased goods are transferred to you at the time you take possession of them at the store.

Cancellation, Termination, Return, Exchange or Refund Policy

You can cancel an order for a product that is not suitable for you. In this case, you must inform us of the problem that prompts you to cancel the order by contacting our customer service and obtain prior consent to cancel the order.

You can exchange an item that doesn't suit you. In this case, you must inform the Merchant of the problem affecting your product and obtain an exchange authorization from them. Subsequently, if requested by the Merchant, you must ship the item to their address in order to obtain an exchange.

You can request a refund for a product that does not suit you. In this case, you must inform us of the problem affecting your product within forty-eight hours of receiving it from our customer service and obtain an exchange authorization. Subsequently, you must, if required by the Merchant, ship the product to the distributor's address in order to obtain a refund.

Subject to the other provisions herein, your request (for refund) (exchange) (exchange/refund) must reach us no later than 2 days after the date of purchase.

As required by the Merchant, the returned product must be unused and in its original packaging. Any returned product that does not meet the above conditions will be refused.

You can return your purchase in store by appointment.

We do not cover return shipping costs.

In all cases where a return of goods is required by the Merchant, the right of ownership of a returned good is only transferred to him when it has been received by him at his physical place of business.

Limitation of Warranty

SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAW, THE MERCHANT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF THE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES SOLD ON THE SITE. IT ALSO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN THE CONTENT, MATERIALS, PRODUCTS (INCLUDING SOFTWARE) OR OTHER SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR THROUGH THE SITE, AS WELL AS ON ITS SERVERS AND IN ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS.

Limitation of liability

THE MERCHANT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR MISUSE OF THE SITE OR THE PURCHASE OF GOODS ON IT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, USE OF DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLES, EVEN IF THE MERCHANT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

The copyrights and Trademarks contained in the information published on the Site are protected by intellectual property laws and are made available on the Site by the granting of a specific license in this regard.

In accordance with applicable intellectual property laws, you may not use, display, or exhibit any trademark, copyright, or other protected work accessible on the Site for any purpose other than to sell these products and services without the right to sublicense them to third parties. The owners of the trademarks appearing on the Site retain all rights not expressly granted in these Terms and Conditions.
