But what is felted soap?

Felt is a textile material produced by soaking and compressing fibers. Felting a bar of soap produces a fusion of wool and soap, resulting in a soapy washcloth.

Our felted body soap is simply a genuine La Savonnerie Blanchou soap wrapped in sheep and alpaca wool. To achieve this, we coat the soap with wool and dip it repeatedly in hot water until the soap bar becomes one with the surrounding layer of wool. The wool layer helps it last longer and keeps it comfortable in your hands. Additionally, using different colored fibers on the same soap gives it an aesthetic appeal.

And the sheep and alpaca wool we use comes from Quebec farms.
